In the morning it’s quiet enough to hear my pen write across the page.
I start with the words...
"Hello Line"
What comes next is always unexpected.
Sometimes it's words, sometimes drawings.
These lines help me figure things out,
discover an idea, or reveal a character.
These marks help me remember to listen and expect surprises.
As my dog waits patiently.
